Public Sector AI Governance
Building AI governance that holds up in practice
Agencies are no longer asking whether to use AI – it’s already being used across government. The challenge now is governing what it does, where it can act, and who remains accountable.
The Public Sector AI Governance conference brings together the CAIOs, AI Accountable Officials and governance, risk and compliance leads carrying that responsibility.
The conference will explore what this looks like in practice: building risk assurance across the AI lifecycle, learning from jurisdictions already running mandatory frameworks and preparing for agentic AI before it’s acting on an agency’s behalf.
Opening with the Digital Transformation Agency on accountability, the throughline holds all day – judgement and duty of care can’t be outsourced to the technology. The harder governance gets, the more human it has to stay.
Walk in with open questions, walk out with practical learnings from other agencies. Join us to build risk assurance across the AI lifecycle, implement governance that holds up under pressure, and protect public trust as AI decisions scale.
